@Upsydaisy your cousin is either up north or northwest of me then.

@Flumpy it will be snowing for another 10 hours or if you were referring to cold temps/winter, another 10 to 11 weeks.

So gardening here is a wee bit different to yours and now you know why we are baffled by Greta telling us not to heat our homes with natural gas! Can you imagine if we didn't? Silly girl... she didnt stick around for winter I noticed :heehee:

Good morning everyone, my knee is still playing up, can it still be a pulled ligament after all this time or is it arthritis. Who knows it just b hurts.
Have a good day, stay safe.

Late again as I've been watching my show and printing off sewing patterns. Later, it's trim and paste the pages together.

I decided to move the all in one computer down to the cellar. It's only ever used by the grandchildren to play games and they are convinced that grandma can check to see if they go places they shouldn't so I thought I'd just move it out of my layout/ironing area down to the carpeted area down there and near the keepsake chest full of board games. There's also a 36" flatscreen down there that is hooked up to satellite tv, and a refrigerator full of drinks and that also has an ice maker in case they want colder drinks, so lots to keep them occupied :)

Got to get the electrics worked out though as there are very few outlets down there. Don't know if I'll get it all set up today as I need to plan before jumping in but I have moved the hardware down and ready for me to started.

The snowplow went by last night and left a huge row of hard packed snow across the end of my driveway. Got to shovel that out first. Got me angry that..

Anyway, have a good Sunday and play safe :)

Oops sorry @moyra just read the above posts through, sorry to hear that your knee is causing you discomfort. It could very well be the weather affecting the tender damaged, but hopefully recovering ligaments. Or as you say it could be a touch of arthritis, mine comes and goes and is definitely weather sensitive. Keep warm and take some pain relief and if it persists get it checked out...even if not much can be done you will probably be prescribed some stronger meds.
                    Take care:grphg:x

Morning all , beautifully frosty out there today.

Not too sure how today will pan out.

Housework this morning and then a visit to check on my Dad and if time allows I might get to visit my older sister to see how things are, despite her two lots of surgery last year she still may require more later this year.

Have a great day and wrap up warmly.:)

                            Good day
Lots of sunshine this morning and it is 2.6f - yes Fahrenheit not Celsius. Inhale quick enough through your nose and your nostrils will freeze together!

I've got just a few errands to run today and then it' play time. I still have adjustments to make to my trousers pattern - just need to tweek the actual pair I made and then take the measurement from those to cut down the pattern for the next pair. I was thrilled that the corduroy I prewashed came out fine and I can go forward with sewing with it.

And I have some heavy cream in the refrigerator that needs to get made up into base for ice cream and to churn tomorrow. I've got my granddaughter coming next week and want to have this type of food prep done before she gets here.

I hope everyone has a good day like I'm looking forward to and please play safe :)
