Oh dear, doesn't sound good. Fingers crossed that your Mum steers clear of it.
I wish them both well, not a good way to celebrate the start of the new decade is it!

          Good morning everyone,
I don't often pop into this thread but as is my custom, I read several newspapers in the morning and I've just finished reading an article that I thought was funny enough to share. I will never be able to grow carrots again without a giggle..

"According to the Suffolk Gazette, Ipswich Magistrates Court heard Fisher, a self-employed office worker, stripped her clothes off and frolicked through the streets of the village with what prosecutor Steve Walshe described as a “six-inch carrot between her buttocks.”
The court heard Fisher’s naked romp through town certainly caught the eye of people enjoying lunch at a pub she passed by. One diner, Royston Beevis, told court the “shapely” Fisher paused at the pub’s front door and wagged her butt which had the orange vegetable wedged in between.
Cops soon caught wind of the artist’s antics and arrested her. Fisher’s lawyer, Emily Lloyd, told court the woman she enjoyed a cup or two of sherry before her naked escapades.
“She accepts that the carrot was perhaps a step too far,” said Lloyd.
Fisher was fined $426 for her outburst. She apologized and promised “to remain dressed in future.”"

          a morning smile,
          Cheers
          Lori

Well they only told her to keep her togs on, nothing about carrots... and what is so so funny to me is that I just ordered some Atlas carrot seeds last weekend and I was wondering what kind she had...

@Upsydaisy I am going to bed with a smile. Thanks for the laughs. I usually read mysteries before going to sleep but somehow I don't think I'll be really into it. Feeling too light hearted at the moment for murder and clever coppers!

Good New Years Eve day to everyone..the end of a decade is here!

Off shopping in a minute for just a few bits. Then a quick flick of the duster and whizz round with the vacuum cleaner. Then hopefully that be it ,all that will be left will get done tomorrow morning before all the family arrive. Love doing our New Years Day lunch buffet.:)

                              Have a brilliant day.:spinning:
