I trust you are all well, had to go into the doctors recently for a diabetics check over and guess what I picked a cold up from there and now I am suffering. Should have stayed at home! First day of spring in Cornwall....50 flowers on 6 Magnolia Cambelli is the marker down here and they are out. Rhododendrons too, camellias, azaleas, magnolias are looking superb

We had a frosty start but the sun is trying to burn through the fog.

Philip pheasant has just turned up for breakfast he turns up every morning at 8.30 just as I give the hens their Dr Greens mixed seed treats. We also had Mr Sparrowhawk turnup yesterday he is not welcome in my garden, I chased him away! I’ve not seen him this morning. (I know he has to eat too).

No Valentine’s Day cards etc here...we haven’t done that for years, we’ve decided to have a treat for dinner.....egg & chips one of the most yummy dinners you can have but not one we have often! My hens have just come back into lay after their annual moult, so I will have two of their eggs with my chips.

The bird song this morning is wonderful here, I could listen to it all day, but I’d better be on my way.

Afternoon everyone , we have been out in town since 7:30 this morning so I am a tad late today!!

After an early appointment we wandered around town ,it's like a summers day down here. The outside cafes were overflowing and the view over S'oton Waters was calm and beautiful. We enjoyed a lovely lunch before before heading home.
The only downside is that my back is well and truly playing up and causing me a lot of pain today......it better start behaving as we have planned to go to the Vyne tomorrow and have a picnic beside the lake. It's so gorgeous ...
