I collected seeds from a yellow flower that was in a bouquet and unfortunately the yellow flowers were dead and dropped their petals before it occurred to me to take a picture.

The petals are about 1.5 inch long.

This is all I've got to show in seek of help identifying. Does anyone have a guess as to what it might be that they can share please?

Dont want to put a downer on it Lori, but I dont think those seeds will be viable, the flower has to dry out and the seed be at the point of almost blowing away in the wind before it would be ripe.

aha @pete I'll take that as a challenge..:rolleyespink: Silly but I'm going to give them a go next month... :fingers crossed:

The funny part was that I just read that they can take up to 30 days to germinate. Very eerie hearing this long timeline for sprouting. Deja vu re: King Proteus .. :hate-shocked: :heehee:

It's okay @pete. It's a good thing I like playing in the dirt.. sometimes I finish with the same as I started :doh:but lots of times I get pleasant surprises :thud:. I'll never forget thinking I had grown something from seed only to find out after it had gotten fairly large, that is was a broadleaf plantain! :loll:Most of the time I don't mind mother nature poking fun at me :)

I guess I'm insane - I just ordered some carnivorous plant seeds.
