Dose anyone know what this is? One side of my horse field is constantly flooded by a neighbouring car wash and these flowers have sprung up in that area. Any idea what they are?

Just Google pictures and the leaves are different and the flower has a strange green bit in the center. I will add a closer pic of the flower. Thank you for trying to help :)

Hi @Heather knight I don't know its real name but I call it a blinking nuisance! I've got it in my front bed, it's popped round from nextdoor :yikes:. It spreads quite quickly.

The neighbouring car wash, cannot flood on to your land or any other land for that matter! If cars/lorries etc are being washed they have to have a drainage system for all the water & stones etc to drain in to. You cannot let that water polut land! It needs to be removed properly in a sluge lorry! I'm not suggesting that you do but if you rang the environmental agency they would be over to investigate in a flash.

I have been having conversations with the environment Agency for about 18months with very very little action. I'm at a loss with how to progress to be honest.

Are the buttercup and crowfoot the same weed? They both look just like it! Either way if it is going to be a pest I will pull it all up tomorrow. We have enuf trouble trying to keep on top of the regular buttercups and ragwort without adding this lol. Thank you all so much for your speedy help

It's looking like we are going to have to fork out for a solicitor and Sue them if we want it to stop.

Welcome to GC Heather. Try speaking to your local MP, he should help you with this!

Edit: Or take it to your local newspaper and stir things up. :)
