    Hi

I bought two pumpkin plants a month ago, and have transplanted them into our vegetable plot. I noticed that the leaves have some yellow spots and now one of the stems is yellowing too. I am not sure what is causing this, but woudl like some advice incase it is something that might spread to my courgettes :)

I have posted pictures in an album.

    Thanks in advance.

I still consider night temperatures too cold for pumpkins.

Get the feeling they might just be sulking.

Were they hardened off properly before planting?

I agree, all Pumpkins and their relatives hate the cold. I don't plant out until I'm sure that night minimum temperature will be 10C or better, which is often 1st June.

Only sowed my Squash seed yesterday ...

It's way too early to plant outside (assuming you are in the UK). It looks like cold damage. Put them back in their pots and bring them indoors for a couple of weeks at least. Tonight is forecast a frost so you will lose them if they are left outside. I don't plant mine outside until late May/early June here in Surrey.
