    Last nights sunset walk was a nice dry but windy walk with the storm building behind the sunset in the East.. Looked really angry & stormy with the light..

    But to the West it had a calm look to it..

      Yes Jiffy, there are several along that side of the village as we have a long tunnel that runs that side put in by the Victorians & modified in the 30s.. There are 6 chimneys..

      I bet that's fun when the trains go through, i bet you feel it first then the smoke out the chimney, do you feel any thing from the other tunnel not far away?

      Sorry to disappoint you but it is such a deep tunnel though the base of the hill you don't feel anything, except by one chimney for some reason.. I live on the other side of the village, but walk around this side often.. There would have been smoke years ago as it was built in 1844, but now it is a great big whoosh of air as the pressure escapes in front of the trains..
