Your best plants of 2017

What were your best plants of 2017? Piccies please so we all know what we're talking about

 

Here are mine to start things off;

I've had Scilla peruviana for a few years now but it finally bloomed in 2017..............

After that it was the Cypripedium that I got out of a bargain section in 2016...............

Then there was the Beschorneria that I've been growing from seed for seven years which turned out to be a Furcraea instead................

Another of 2016's bargains was an Anigozanthos which bloomed this year...............

Hedychium gardnerianum

Salvia 'Black'n'Blue' (thanks, Caroline!)

Asiminier triloba 'Prima' which produced 30+ beautiful fruits this year. But like longk, so many more..where do you stop?

 

Meyers Lemon bought a year ago with six fruits the size of marbles, we have had four of them this Winter and next years fruits are marble size now.

You can't tell off the photo but it's such a beautiful clear yellow with a wonderful scent .
