Thanks again, I know many on GC have been through this as well.
My son's Wedding is in two weeks,
Mrs Strongy's retires on Tuesday so some plans have been put on hold.

This was unfortunate timing but some things in life can be planned, others can't.

strongylodon...it's like a test of will to your soul when things like this occur and seen so much of it with family members besides my own parents going...it's a pure shock to the soul...my thoughts are with :)

Feeling for you, @strongylodon . I hope the phone calls go smoothly tomorrow, and that a fitting tribute and "goodbye" falls into place easily..

Today it was raining on and off in Cornwall so we went to the Eden Project and took advantage of the 2 for 1 card I got free with the gardening magazine.

We really enjoyed it and it was a great day out.

Most of the bunches of bananas had big white bags taped around them. Perhaps its to stop them falling off and hitting somebody.

                              Yum :)

After a fight with the squirrels - the squirrels won - I only managed to harvest 3 plums from my Czar tree. Although I lost the fight - I was still quite pleased to at least have had some plums for myself.

Went to The Range for some plant food and snapped up a price reduced Forsythia Weekend - because it looks like it hadn't been watered since the hot weather began. A good soaking in a bucket when I got home and transplanted into new pot of fresh compost - followed by another good water. I'm thinking of transplanting it into the front garden when it has recovered.

Has anyone noticed that there doesn't seem to be as much plant food on the shelves this year?
