I'd like to know what is the plant/flower that you have grown for the very first time in 2015 that you have totally fallen in love with and wondered why you've never grown it before ? ? ?

    I'll start off with mine.

It's got to be Salvias. I've just fallen in love with them, they have beautiful flowers in a wide range of colours, and most have gorgeous scented foliage.

My favourite has to be " Amistad ", it's colour is fantastic and the scent reminds me of raspberries.

2015 was not the greatest gardening year but...
Sweet pea Charlies Angels . As was recommended on here ! I have had an up and down experience with SPs , sometimes good , sometimes disappointing . This one performed superbly in a poor year, flowering into November (just ) . This one is a keeper for 2016 10/10:blue thumb:

Mine has to be Cobaea Scandens. I grew it in a big tub and it did really well and just grew and grew and kept on flowering. Still waiting for the solicitors to get a move on :gaah: but when I move I can grow it in a border. I'm expecting it to be even better when it's roots can have a bit more room. :hapydancsmil:

Well I don't know about "totally fallen in love with", but definitely a new addition that I am very impressed with, Teucrium fruticans. I took these pictures at Montpellier Airport in March. In April I planted up my new Mediterranean style garden and it has FLOWERED EVER SINCE AND IS STILL FLOWERING. You can't get much better than that! I've never grown it before, in fact never even heard of it before but it has been a star in my garden this year.

Edit: question, why are everyone else's pictures nice and big and mine are only little attachment things?

When you upload a picture @Redwing it will show as a thumbnail unless you hit the 'full size' button option near it.

It'll be best to leave the two, usually if you try to delete one both will disappear.:)
