I saw them advertised on ebay power unit long reach hedge trimmer and strimmer atachment for a buy now price of 240 pounds. T hey are made in China and are use by landscapers and park staff. Seems a good buy what do you think?

Wouldnt touch it with a bardge poll!

Never heard of it before and seriusly doubt its in profeshional use. At £240 the build quality will be very poor and built to a budget.

Spare parts for this type of machine will also be non existent. Spares for stihl and husqy machines can usulally be deliverd next day.

I use a dedicated pole hedge trimmer and a sepertae clearing saw (brush cutter).

With the systme your looking at, if the engine unit goes down your minus two machines, and one engine is doing the work of two.

Buy either a new or second hand stihl or husqy, also be warned that a pole hedge trimer whilst a usefull tool for the top of wide hedges is very heavy and not practical for general hedge cutting.

If you can afford it get a 40" single sided husqy or stihl, the reach is almost the same as the pole machine but a lot lighter.
