    Is it worth or even beneficial to tidy up the garden?

    Generally I tidy up anything that's gone black and mushy, but leave those things holding their shape. Might be a change this year, being so mild, and I'll take down the Acanthus senni, Dahlia...
    Generally I tidy up anything that's gone black and mushy, but leave those things holding their shape. Might be a change this year, being so mild, and I'll take down the Acanthus senni, Dahlia imperialis and the Impatiens tinctoria after Christmas to give some of the spring growers a chance.
