I think it's a deaths head caterpillar as well. They are occassionally seen here but I think they need the warmth of southern Europe to survive the winter. I may be mis-remembering but I think...

Buying Spring bulbs in bulk
Well I bought a bulb planter which seems to work very well. I've planted about 100 or so Tulips and some Purple Sensation Alliums too. We will see what comes up.
