Recommend a small-ish evergreen shrub that is nice to sit with
Rosemary is a good idea. It flowers, used in cooking, grows quickly and growing cuttings is easy. Tough plant as it grows up mountains in Greece.

Supporting a plant in a plant pot container
Cut three or four appropriately sized sections off a bamboo cane and wedge them horizontally between the inner and outer pot. Should aid stability and allow humidity to rise.

I've taken up using Perry Mason's Paul Drake style address. Hey Beautiful or Hello Handsome. It usually gives the person something to smile about.

My lights are in full view of the street. Quite happy for the local coppers to come in for a peek. They'll soon clear off when I start boring them with tomato talk.

It's definitely better than it was for me a couple of days ago ( laptop only ). Maybe it's just feeling it's age and taking longer to warm up
