Yes you're right, it is individual squares, different sizes, but that is why I say it is easy. You are only ever working on one round of one square at a time. Yours sounds lovely - what a shame that you no longer have it.

I usually start mine late January/early February in Hertfordshire. Tried starting earlier once but they just got leggy waiting for decent light levels even with grow lights. What varieties is everyone going for this year?
