Latest moan from you and me 2026
There were lots of yellow and brown patches in the snow when I went up the road. No loo paper though.

Yawn Yawn Wakey Wakey 2026
I had a new front door 2 or 3 years ago. It was expensive but worth it. It shuts properly, doesn't let in draughts, doesn't scrape on the floor and the key turns easily. I haven't regretted it.

Best supplier of compost 2026
I use Clover, as @hailbopp suggested. It has peat in it. At the moment it's sold by 2 garden centres fairly local to me in South Norfolk. I'm happy with it.

Things that have made you happy today 2026
Interesting. Thanks for the tip
We all need a cheering up. I can’t wait to get the chilli seeds into the soil. Another two weeks to wait.

Portuguese Laurels problem
Just one further thought @Selwynha, if you plan to dig up one of the plants to investigate, wait for the temperature to improve to avoid any further damage.
