Rosemary is a good idea. It flowers, used in cooking, grows quickly and growing cuttings is easy. Tough plant as it grows up mountains in Greece.

Cut three or four appropriately sized sections off a bamboo cane and wedge them horizontally between the inner and outer pot. Should aid stability and allow humidity to rise.

I'd either paint it with colourful tones or use a colour that matches it's surround so that it simply blends in. I love sundials but I think that you just want a flat surface so as not to create an obstacle?

MSNA very interesting Guardian article on AI. It is hopeful that the AI bubble will burst and then legislation etc can be put in to control harms. I'm not so sure. Super intelligent AI will be a force very difficult to control once out there.

Courgettes and some pumpkins are all cucumis Pepo, and the ornamental ones tend to also be Pepos, so they cross easily.
