Looks like we've had the best of the day, very cold but bright with a bit of a breeze, sat freezing in a hide in the middle of a forest for three hours, this was condensed into a 15 minute video.

For gardeners in Hampshire: where do you get peat based substrates/composts? Garden centres around Portsmouth appear to go with peat-free composts. My nearest Poundland closed. The only options left are online.

Tomorrow I'm clearing the top fruit (pear) bed on allotment of dead foliage and weeds to help create space for the spring bulbs that are emerging. I have some Scilla and Tulip plants to add, as well as some Cyclamen coum.

They are gorgeous.My first cat loved olives and their water, got literally crazy. Our second cat loved prawns and catmint. None of them liked tuna.
