As it reached -4.7c here week before last, I don't think I'll be trying brugs outside! Though saying that, I knew someone in rural Nottinghamshire who did. He just cut them down and mulched over winter.

Where to go and what can I expect
No judgement on people using these as we all do what we have to do but I am curious as to how they know dogs or other animals can't hear it. Do the dogs tell them?

@RoseBush I'd agree with In my experience, badgers keep coming to the same area for quite a while, so even if it was warm, it would be worth waiting in case they messed things up again.
