    @lizzie27 it depends how much you love your rose! I am biased as roses are my favourite flowers. I would rather prune the osmanthus. I wouldn't want to risk killing the rose though I dug up roses...

    I have Blush Noisette. Not the tallest climber, by any means, but if you are looking for willingness to please it’s a winner. Flowers from May to December. Rot proof. not too thorny. :)
