That would be fine for 2 or 3 years so long as you keep them watered in hot weather. Terracotta pots dry out faster than plastic ones. Don't forget to feed them either. Ideally 60cm pots would be better for bigger roses but the David Austin website says from 45cm. Do you have a patio big enough?

Will you prune your Erigeron this year @Selleri and @BB3 or leave it as it is? I usually take mine back to ground level but this year they are all bulked up with no sign of decline and I'm debating whether to leave them or whether they may be more floriferous if I cut them back as usual.

A lot depends on your soil, is it acid, alkali or neutral? It's good that you have ordered a soil testing kit. Azaleas, Pieris and camellias like acid soil. Is it clay, sandy, loam etc ?Some other evergreen shrubs are - Choisya (they come in different varieties and sizes, white flowers),...
