    Italian Pencil Cypress - planting next to house

    I personally don't believe they have a long term future in containers, but agree planting in that position isn't a good idea. I think some trellis on the wall with a suitable climbing plant...

    Non-Gardener builds an Observatory, Garden Railway and even Dabbles with Plants!

    Out at the ornamental planter today, some of the Pansies are still alive ( along with some big weeds). I'm not sure if they will flower again or not, but if they survive the Winter, I may move...

    @Love my chicken my ladybird looks like a harlequin. It has two white patches at the front. We have so many in the house at times and they are all sorts of colours and spots.

    Thank you @JennyJB Dewi's is on a wooden stick and he enjoys chewing it, it's full of teeth marks along the whole of its length. He's got two actually - one upstairs and one down :biggrin:
