What's your weather like 2026
Just had my walk and my eyes were watering in the wind! Mostly stayed dry so can’t grumble. New game for my walk: note ‘for sale’ houses, then have a nosey online!

Latest moan from you and me 2026
Fat jabs are dangerous because they don't solve the problem. Some may lose weight but you need to change the mindset towards food in order to keep it off. Sadly today we seem to want a medication...

Help With Growing Seeds
Tomato seed varies in price widely. F1 seed I have costs around £3.99 for 8 seeds where as open pollenated seed can be half that price for about 50 seeds.

Aaah ..... you've caught me out It took all but the last 18" of that branch. It might have taken it but I sawed it off anyway to avoid jamming the machine.

Plant labels
I use pencil, then at the end of season I collect all the labels. The ones that didn't break from the light get washed (using sponge and soap), then I use eraser to clean whatever written.
