    I moved the best 8 chilli plants into new pots giving each its own pot. I also gave the best marigolds a new pot and left them in the greenhouse. The antirrhinums moved into the greenhouse. They are too small to be moved into pot with better soil.

    Dying Privet Hedge

    When walking I enjoy looking at dense pyracantha hedges. I know one house with nicely kept forsythia hedge to. I think two a managable. Would never go for cherry laurels though.

    It is 19.7cnow so I have come in for Lunch (Bagel, cream Cheese, Jam and tea). I did spend two hours pottering though.

    Something I’ve done for years but a few years back, the Levington compost I got was so damn woody that the germination was really poor. Usually, I’d just scatter some seeds on the top of a pot full of compo then rake them in with my hand. Got a different method now. :blue thumb:
