Hi, does anyone grow schizophragma hydrangeoides? I was given one some years back and it's done well but not been in its forever spot yet. Was wondering how and where people are growing it? I know it would do well up a tree and that they grow massive but despite it seemingly loving the full sun...

As well as the Lonicera nitida another which may do well is Griselina - evergreen, quite fast growing and doesn't appear susceptible to disease.

@Palustris I'll wait for it to flower. It's wedged itself between a geranium and a veronica. If it behaves like the lesser jobs, it's unlikely to do any harm.

The second picture is a cotoneaster, probably cotoneaster horizontalis. It looks fine and will burst into leaf soon. The first a mophead hydrangea and it's likely to be fine. The mop head part is important if you want flowers this year because they flower on the previous seasons growth....
