I only grow mine in pots and find they do better when south facing. Been in the GH for some time now in order to avoid our incessant rain.

Terrace in the Mediterranean
Me too!
Lots of early colour there,
We do have daffodils, but currently the naturalised ones near here are sitting in puddles of rain water, so I hope the bulbs don't rot off in the ground.

Gardens and Pretty Places we have visited
You can always block out their faces to make them sort of 'anonymous' , but if they're in the distance and nobody can make out who they are it should not matter.
