@LunarSea I have been to the medical centre this morning and there are two trees just behind the medical centre; one conifer and one deciduous. I don't know if that is where the wagtails roost.

That's right, I have them in my garden, they come in from the hedgerows. I leave them in odd corners because they're pretty and brighten the place up, but I get rid of lots too.

...just be aware of the effect of salt water runoff buildup affecting other plants nearby... It might just be easier to use unsalted water from a kettle - perhaps if you have a little left over...
