    Field woodruff in my lawn

I have large areas of what I believe is Luzula campestris ( Field woodrush) in my lawn. Can anyone suggest any herbicide I can spray it with to kill it or do I just have to dig it all out by hand

My hose is more likely to knock over pots in and around the greenhouse; however the number of times I've hoed the growing point off something just about to come through the soil is considerable.
