    I thought the same when we first moved here and several clumps pf bluebells appeared the first spring. After 10 years or so they had spread all over, into the bases of shrubs etc. I've been digging out as many as I can and slicing off the rest every year since.

    No, thats factory formed. Proper gates are hand forged but totally unaffordable.....
