I reuse the compost from my Potato bags each year, I do refresh with new compost and feed. No problems so far

Which bit of France @LilyTL ? There are a few of us here and all with different weather and soils.

@LilyTL, yes, you can re-use the compost from the pots but you should remove any roots first. The removed compost would benefit from some granular fertiliser being mixed with it and/or some bagged manure to beef it up before re-using either in pots or in the garden.
