    I have taken mine out of pots last autumn and transplanted into the ground with top dressing of ericaceous . Other acid lovers are doing fine in my soil and i have 3 water butts handy for where...

I always intend dividing some clumps, too, but never seem to get round to doing that (must try harder :biggrin:). I imagine now is the time to be doing so, if I’m going to do it.

    Probably because they have the chemicals that can be used on some of the potential problems that the ordinary gardener doesn't have access to. Blight etc, admittedly viruses are a bigger problem.
