I have sown some Purple Sprouting Broccoli seeds which have grown well on a sunny windowsill . They are now 3-4 inches tall with several sets of leaves. Can I transplant to small pots, and then leave outside in a sheltered position to grow on? My windowsill is getting rather full now!

Perovskia - how much would you cut down?
That looks fine That's about the height that I reduce my Verbena bonariensis to. Your Perovskia shouldn't be tempting for slugs anyway because of the strongly scented, tough, silvery foliage....

Probably because they have the chemicals that can be used on some of the potential problems that the ordinary gardener doesn't have access to. Blight etc, admittedly viruses are a bigger problem.

What's buzzing flying near you 2026
@Obelix-Vendée there doesn't seem to be any reason established as to their demise or inability to breed. The Guillemots population there does get hammered by Raven predation.
