Plants you don't grow
I don't grow any vegetables. Too many Amish around with markets loaded. If I do the math, my time and supplies etc. it wins out to buy from the Amish.

What's your weather like 2026
Sunny all day here too and about 16c. Going up to 22c on Wednesday. My neighbours opposite have gone off to Spain for some sun and warmth - it's raining and cooler than here for the next two days....

Gardens and Pretty Places we have visited
I think you notice the plants (or garden features) that you like @Busy-Lizzie and I would really like one of those antique copper planters, if only I could justify the cost

Ideas for what herbs and veg I can grow in raised beds in shade
Alpine strawberries do really well in partial shade, they actually prefer it to full sun. Gooseberries are worth a go too, they're one of the few fruit bushes that genuinely don't mind a shadier spot.

Just for fun- you win the lottery and... what would you get for your garden?
