Coelogyne cristata Correa Pink Mist has been flowering for months Dendrobium kingianum. I have 2 pots, sourced from different suppliers (accidentally). This one flowers far more than the other.

Perovskia - how much would you cut down?
That looks fine That's about the height that I reduce my Verbena bonariensis to. Your Perovskia shouldn't be tempting for slugs anyway because of the strongly scented, tough, silvery foliage....

I like the moat method for seedlings I sow in the greenhouse and it works well (I put the legs of the stand in water so I have more room) but you do get intrepid slugs that scale the greenhouse...

Think one of the biggest draws to rats is BBQs, especially 'chilled out' neighbours, not tiding up, or leaving the tidying until morning after a jolly good BBQ.
