    I am often puzzled by modern life.

    My neighbour has wind chimes in the back garden - we don't hear them unless we are out there and usually as far up the garden as the greenhouse.. .something quite nice about hearing them tinkle...

    I used to have a Sumac tree in a previous garden. I did actually like it but it certainly likes to travel !! Not ideal for the average garden but makes an impressive roadside avenue.

    Did some weeding of the gravel ‘garden’ by the pond, moved a couple of Foxgloves, planted a fern under my big Acer, grass cut (ok not by me), and had a lovely potter about.
