I used to have a Sumac tree in a previous garden. I did actually like it but it certainly likes to travel !! Not ideal for the average garden but makes an impressive roadside avenue.

People with more money than sense. In my opinion it's an extreme form of plant cruelty, forcing an elderly olive tree into a pot far too small for it.

    Seed Sowing This Month April

Someone told me rhubarb was expensive but I've never looked as it pretty much grows wild down our allotment. 90% of what I pick is given to others, now I know why:)

I have sown the salad/spinach hoping we have had the last cold night with danger of frost. I then planted my Echinacea which I had sown in August and made now a real attempt to grow. Finally, I planted two of the grasses that I bought and which started growing an inch a day. Took me 2 hours.
