My issue with strawberries (and raspberries) is when you get an allotment you inevitably end up with a few of each, but you don't know the variety or how old they are so can't really plant...

What shrub is this?
The one at RHS Rosemoor is over 10 m tall and in flower it's like a yellow wall. Mine is just over 1 m and nearly 3 years old, no signs of flowers yet and the shoots are just developing this spring.

Complete re-hash of our first owned garden.
