I've got a cristata and it is always spring flowering, but I keep it bone dry and fairly cold all winter, it's only just starting to grow now. Usually flowers outside in may. It's a small division from an old plant that had got too big and heavy to bring in the winter before last.

Rhubarb Bolting In March
Ants farming aphids on rhubarb is a new one for me. I've had them do it on broad beans but never thought to check the rhubarb. Might have a look at mine this weekend now.

Electric cars.
When we were in LA, past July, saw a robot car driving people. they were in the back seat. There was a revolving hat on top of it, guess it scans stuff and one on each side by the mirrors.
