I understand Willow Tits are almost extinct, because people are feeding the birds and there are many more Blue Tits than there should be, and they kill the Willow Tits and destroy their nests and throw the eggs out. Then they build their own nests in that place. Apparently it is very worrying...

I've grown both skirret and salsify, I got enough to for a meal or two, but didn't really bother again. Purple sprouting broccoli, hardy, can make a large plant and produces edible shoots at this time of year, these can be eaten raw in salad or briefly cooked.

It's a lot dryer and grainy than I was expecting tbh.
