    Amazing how time goes by! I got Billbergia nutans from him, he grew it outside. He would laugh how mine has expanded. I corresponded with him for a while. He had some health issues, I think...

    Whats your most spine'd Cactus

    I’ve got a very young one grown from dragon fruit, and I agree with you totally, the spines look harmless just like hair, but get them in your hands and their terrible :hhog:

    I believe it is Mammillaria elegans. I may sow the seeds if they ripen but I have never has any success with cactus seeds. We'll see what happens

    @flounder thanks, there’s always room for a cactus flounder, ferocactus & Trithrinax used as guard dogs, now your talking, just remember where you place them, because they’re not fussy who they bite ;)
