One drawback with this SSD. With the old HHD fitted If I had a cold left hand I would rest it on the left hand side of the mac and warm it up. It does not get hot enough for that now !! Honestly though this is by far the best move I have made on any PC over the years.

Well, it's taken me some time but I've got most of my favourite forums set up again. i also lost some security programs on the change back to W7 but was able to go back through my historic downloads and retrieve them. My gmail account is working fine, unlike when on W10, and my Pentax camera...

First check your system date and time.Then try the windows updates process again.If it does not work, then search for hotfix KB3112343 and install it.Repeat the windows updates process again.Connect via network cable instead of wifi if the above does not work.

my laptop has been quite slow for a while, it is time I think to save few relevant files and wipe all the rest off. While researching how to best achieve that, I found this useful page: these instructions are for toshiba, but surelly you can find also other brands.

The pc I use at work has 4gb of ram. Given that I'm a software developer and routinely run many very resource heavy processes concurrently, I'd say it gets a fair hammering. It copes admirably.

I thought this scam a particularly devious/malicious one, as it's targeted at people who'd been caught before, so might make the same mistake again.P.S. My wife's previous employment included helping people who'd been cleaned out by financial scams, and reckons many would get caught out again...

Oh, and it broke within 6 months
