    That is good to know, as I also planted a piece of yellow ginger and tumeric at the same time. Neither of them have shown any signs of growth.

    Looks like I got off lightly! I'm going to see if my Canna will keep growing as another leaf spike is still there. Hope it keeps going.

    Yeh, mpc with about 30% sharp sand. First year doing it but so far plenty of flowers and the light reflecting from the wall seems to be helping them.
