The mould is not on your plants, its on the compost. Not sure what kind of compost you are using.I'd suggest that just maybe you need to allow the surface to dry out between waterings. I doubt the mould will affect living tissue, but best you dont let it carry on.You could try using a...

Yeh, mpc with about 30% sharp sand. First year doing it but so far plenty of flowers and the light reflecting from the wall seems to be helping them.

I have 2ftx2ft containers either side of my front door, sitting in full shade (door faces north). They have had pyramid shaped box about 2 1/2 ft high but I have lost them both to blight. I would like a change from box if possible, looking for something I can shape, that will live on the north...

All of mine are in pots, golden, nigra, arrow and a bush type.All doing well as I feed with soluble feed... A few are near 3m tall.
