The mould is not on your plants, its on the compost. Not sure what kind of compost you are using.I'd suggest that just maybe you need to allow the surface to dry out between waterings. I doubt the mould will affect living tissue, but best you dont let it carry on.You could try using a...

Yeh, mpc with about 30% sharp sand. First year doing it but so far plenty of flowers and the light reflecting from the wall seems to be helping them.
