peels off fine.What's peeling? I hardly ever peel anything, ruins the flavour but you're right you can scrape off any unsightly bits. I think I may be pushing the boundaries having planted so late but I couldn't eat the carrots quickly enough which were in the designated planting area!

Eat the ones that are marked or split first. The rest will gradually ripen in a cool dry place (not the fridge!) They should keep for at least a couple of weeks.
