When should I earth up potatoes?

Personally I wouldn't take the risk I would get rid of the plants and start again....You still have the time and the new seedlings will soon catch up

Plant as you dig, then at least you can see the fruit of your pain. I have had my lottie for one year now and I still haven't finished digging it (it is a big lottie!)Good Luck

I planted 2 rows, one of which i peeled the cloves before planting. So far , this row is doing better than the unpeeled row.I guess I'll have to wait and see how they get on.I'll keep you...
