Fruit & Veg In Shady Areas
I think any types of salad/leaf vegetables will grow fine, they don't need much sun anyway. Fruit I'm not so sure about, since they usually need full sun to grow.

I can`t say I have had tremendous success this year too, agree probably to dry at a vital stage, we did have a hot/warm spell around Easter, I think. I have the best drying and the smaller cloves...
