    Thanks, just had a 'google' and came up with Convolvulus 'tricolor' a wild flower of the Mediterranean!! :), seems its got lost, perhaps our current weather conditions got it confused :heehee:

    Is this a yound sole tree

    Yes it could well be that one, a dogwood as I found out, indigenous to North America. Must be self-seeded as the people who had the house before us did zero gardening apart from grass cutting.
