Yes it could well be that one, a dogwood as I found out, indigenous to North America. Must be self-seeded as the people who had the house before us did zero gardening apart from grass cutting.

I thought it wasnt ox eyed daisy as I have that growing in my garden too. The daisies in question only grow to about 6 inches. I have them growing everywhere all of a sudden and I have no idea how they got there. Also is this the Chamomile that I can make tea out of?

I like the flower, Astrantia it's a new one on me. Is it easy to grow ?

Aqualegia's are beautiful and not just the more usual blues, whites, pinks and purples and all shades inbetween. but also.... And best of all, these four and several more, all comes from the same seed head! I was lucky enough to be given a seed head a couple of years ago, got loads...
