    Caprifoliaceae? Shrub for ID please

Silver surfer beat me to it. L. syringantha was my next guess. Had me fooled in that ours is a deeper red flower than that one. ?L.s. Dart's Red?

    Appeared in the Garden

I'd agree looks like a Ribes sp. Can't be Ribes rubrum though as the laves are not cilliate. Most likely to be Ribes nigrum - Blackcurrant.

    Need ID please

I would struggle to disagree with that id. A real booger to get to bloom! I'm going to try some leaf cuttings from Sues this year - they take easily enough from E.bicolor.

    Unknown eggs/spores??

I've seen them happen too. I agree with Zigs, its fungi, although not being as knowledgeable as Zigs, I couldn't have named which one. It feeds on the wet cardboard of the big roll tubes.

    ANY IDEAS??

Melianthus has a blue green leaf which is waxy and leathery, slightly, and smells very peculiar. LongK's perennial is a yarrow or goldenrod type of thing with a much softer leaf texture.
