Welcome Clarita! 1. Agree Hostas. All rest are Rhododendron sp or cultivars. There are 1,000 of different ones. Even experts struggle to ID which one is which. Some Rhodos are known by the common name Azalea. There are many wonderful gardens in Scotland. I do hope you manage to visit more...

The trouble is that Zigs would stoop to anything!

First one looks like Roseopicta, second does look like Triostar (used to be Ctenanthe Oppenheimiana Tricolor, bit of a mouthful ) and the third, Wavestar.

Whoops, that's the one I meant, not Coronilla. Never managed to get the seeds to germinate though.

I have now lost interest in this shrub completely, especially since I can buy the berries cheaply!

This Spring was the first time they popped up (for me; as well as some other "interesting" flora). I dug up and replanted those I wanted in a particular place and they have thrived! I'm very happy with that One of the bunch even produced flower heads this summer - bonus! I'm working on...

I think they take four to six weeks RBUK, about the same time as Fuschia cuttings. It's some years since I took the last ones, but I've not had any fail yet. Hang in there!

The leaves are wrong for marguerites. Also I'm fairly sure marguerites flowers have a lot more petals. 99% sure its Coreopsis
