    Shrub(?) identification

    Those stems would make a nice frame for a largish planter. Hooped over in a criss cross pattern so that a soft stemmed plant would have support. Its just what I am looking out for ,so, a Winter...

    If it flowers later than June then it will fall into pruning group 2 or 3. Have a look here for pruning advice. If it's not been pruned then that's probably why it's only flowering further up...

    Shrub with red flowers to ID please

    Visted Chester Zoo earlier this year and they use the golden one a lot in their planting schemes, the mature specimens looked stunning :dbgrtmb:.......after that I bought a lovely healthy young specimen...:)

    Anyone know this tree?

    Unless its grown for its tropical look with huge leaves, in that case you would be cutting it back to almost ground level each March.. Left to its own devices as you say not one for small gardens..:)
