    Thanks Pete, cover with fleece in te winter for protection? It's going to be in a planter, betwixed house and fence. Garden is coastal, around 300 metres from the sea. Can be quite windy too!!

    Are these slug eggs?

    Another thing to remember relevant to where you site it - the flowers exude a nectar than can drip onto surfaces very sticky and sweet. We don't have that problem as Mrs Shiney always takes the...

    Hi Ted, and welcome to GC from me too. I agree with John but call it a Cycad Revoluta, still a Sago Palm. Mine had 20 new fronds this year so I was absolutely delighted.
